Shears,Thinners and Scissor Sharpening
See How To Store Your Scissors
Read this before sending your shears to be sharpened.
If you had your shears or thinners sharpened in the past by another service and you were not satisfied by the quality of the job, we will reconstruct the blade at no extra charge. (i.e. if too much critical metal was removed, we will put on the appropriate edge; if your convex edge was replaced with a bevel, we will roll the edge).
All repairs such as balancing, refurbishing the bevel, setting, straightening of blades and replacement of screws and plastic silencers are done free of charge.
Caution: All shears and thinners, when returned, are extremely sharp. Because each blade is individually custom hand honed, they are usually sharper then when bought new. If you are not comfortable or use to a razor edge on your shears, then you can cut a piece of end paper or a paper towel, using the full length of the blades 2-5 times or until desired comfort is reached.
All shears will be disassembled, cleaned and refurbished.

Wrap your shears in padded material and mail either in a box (preferred), or a padded envelope.
