Watch Real-World Examples
These videos complement the Daily Customer Checklist by showing real scissors, real workstations, and real-world examples. Together, they demonstrate many of the habits, mistakes, and best practices discussed throughout this page.
TEST YOUR SCISSORS. ACKNOWLEDGE THE RESULTS. HELP US MAINTAIN THE HIGHEST STANDARD.
Customers should test their scissors before we leave. Their inspection confirms the work was completed correctly. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right—right now.
Our work is not complete until the customer has tested the scissors and acknowledged the results. Once acknowledged, our quality-control process is complete.
CLEANLINESS & SANITATION
Throughout this section, we’d like to place a stronger emphasis on proper sanitation and clean work habits, in addition to protecting the scissors.
- Wiping scissors clean before returning them to a holster or case.
- Avoiding damp towels as drawer liners.
- Keeping scissors away from used combs, brushes, and other tools.
- Avoiding cluttered trays and containers where clean and used tools are mixed together.
- Maintaining clean, organized storage throughout the workday.
The goal is not to criticize anyone, but to encourage cleaner, safer, and more professional habits while helping extend the life of the scissors.

STILL SEEING THIS TODAY
As new examples are documented during regular service visits, we can occasionally add a small section such as “Still Seeing This Today” to show that these issues continue to occur in real professional environments. The page stays current while remaining clean, organized, and easy to navigate.
